Pregnant Mother's Story:
My daughter was seven months pregnant when her pubic bone separated causing her excruciating pain. She was not able to dress herself or walk without help. She had seen a physician and another chiropractor, neither of whom were able to help her. She had her first appointment with Dr. Hegel just after I arrived to help. The adjustment was very gentle and involved not only her physical structure, but a check of her internal system function and emotional function. Her pelvic problems also involved her emotions over the upcoming baby. Her 2 1/2 year old daughter had reflux that had plagued her since birth. Sleep had been a luxury never attained since her daughter was born, and she was terrified she would not be able to handle another infant. Dr. Hegel was able to help her visualize and clear the source of her distress, and open her heart to this new coming infant. This helps the physical problems to resolve and heal with chiropractic adjustments.
Through the next three weeks she improved dramatically until, by eight months pregnant she was walking normally and back to caring for her home and 3 year old daughter. By the time her baby was born, she was ready to welcome him into the home and her life. She had an 8 lb, 10 oz baby boy mid October with a normal delivery following about six hours of labor. (The labor with her daughter was 27 hours). She is recovering normally, taking the night feedings and normal fussy periods in stride.
